Relationships with Outdoor Environments
A relationship is the way in which two or more people or things are connected. Most of our topics in Unit 3 will address human relationships with outdoor environments - How are we connected to them?
The aim of this page is to help you develop ways and methods for describing these relationships.
Each time you see the word 'relationship', it is worth considering diagram on the right:
We all have a unique perception of specific or different outdoor environments, which helps to determine the interactions we have, which can influence the impact that happens following our use. A "relationship" may not always include all three parts (Perception / Interaction / Impact), but one of these always links to another. For example:
